Senior Manager IT Networks

Job Summary:
As a Senior Manager of IT Networks, you will oversee our organization’s network infrastructure’s design,
implementation, and maintenance. You will lead a team of network engineers and administrators,
ensuring our network systems’ reliability, security, and scalability. Your role will involve strategic
planning, budgeting, and identifying technological advancements to enhance our network capabilities.
Collaboration with other IT leaders and departments to support business objectives and maintain high
levels of network performance will be essential. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on
industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our network
operations.

Outline of Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage the organization’s LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Oversee network architecture planning, capacity management, and technology upgrades.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of network services.
• Manage telecommunications contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships.
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement IT network strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals.
• Manage IT network projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Evaluate the business unit budget and costs associated with technological training.
• Optimize PABX systems for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and integration with network services.
• Manage data center facilities, including power and cooling systems, equipment installation, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with data center standards and security protocols.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for data center operations.
• Lead the NOC team in monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing incidents to minimize downtime.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems for early detection of network issues.
• Develop and maintain NOC procedures, escalation paths, and incident response protocols.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure systems’ efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth.
• Responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, policies, and procedures to protect against
cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as vendors, regulators, and auditors.
• Assisting the IT department and end-users with technical support and troubleshooting.
• Delivering performance metrics on KPIs
